CYCLING IN CORNO ALLE SCALE

Corno alle Scale is a must for mountain lovers seeking uncontaminated environments for recreational moments on their mountain bikes.  Mountain biking in this areas means having a number of different trails available, of various difficulty, which unfold in the woods, along the high Tuscan-Emilian ridges or through ancient villages at the discovery of the most beautiful and off-the- beaten-track parts of this regional park.  The itineraries are all signposted with different coloured signs and marked on a detailed map available from the tourist information offices in Lizzano and Vicidiatico.

SANTERNO VALLEY

The Santerno Valley is a varied and different territory mainly made up of three types of environment connected to each other:  plain and badlands, mid and upper hills and mountains. The common thread is the Vena del Gesso, a clearly visible and recognisable rock strip that cuts across the valley. This is a favourite destination for hikers and curious walkers. It is an open air museum that can be discovered on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback; nature lovers can discover the Santerno Valley using their favourite means and heading in any direction.
