In contact with nature. Febbio 2000, nestled in the nature of the Parco Regionale del Gigante, offers fun and entertainment and everything you may wish for on your winter or summer holiday.
In winter, Febbio becomes a well equipped ski resort, the highest in the northern Apennines (1200-2063 m.); it is the favourite destination for ski lovers from the province of Reggio Emilia, and not only. The chairlifts go up to 2063 metres, almost reaching the top of Mount Cusna.
The high number of modern lift systems and the kilometres of runs (about 20 km) offer ski lovers a wide range of opportunities thanks also to the great amount of snow which lasts until late spring. The great ridge of Mount Cusna and the varied landscape make this resort ideal for ski mountaineering, cross-country skiing and off-piste skiing.
Febbio2000 also offers large areas for snowboarding as well as fabulous off-pistes with natural badlands for half-pipe lovers.
Equipment can be hired at the bottom of the lift system and a local ski school is available to fine tune your technique. Near the "Baby" ski area there is a space where children can enjoy themselves on bob sledges and sledges. Have fun on the snow!!

DOWNHILL RUNS
No. 5 downhill runs of different lengths and difficulty for a total of 25 km
- 2000: black
run approved for competitions; about 2100 m long and the highest in the Apennines, in fact it starts at 2063 m/asl. Not an easy run yet also accessible to non-experts; it offers a good ski location as well as an endless and wonderful view over Emilia, Liguria and Tuscany.
- COMPETITION Run: black/red
run approved for competitions; the “natural” run for the new triple chairlift. It is about 1900 metres long and has a wonderful steep section suitable for expert skiers which then continues more gently towards the “lake”.
- RESCADORE: blue
an easy run that can be enjoyed by all skiers, from experts to beginners; it is about 1700 m long and can be reached with a short connection between the new triple chairlift and Piazzale San Lorenzo where the old Rescadore chairlift used to arrive.
- LAMA GOLESE: red/blue
beautiful run, about 2200 metres long, next to the start of the 2000 chairlift. This run has easy and even parts as well as steep and challenging ones. It joins the Rescadore run from the “laghetto” or continues downhill ending next to magic carpet of the ski school slope.

How to get here
FROM REGGIO EMILIA
Take the SS 63 road towards Castelnovo Nè Monti. Once you reach the hamlet of Felina, make a right turn following signs for Villa Minozzo. Tourist signposting for Febbio is also provided (brown background). When you reach the hamlet of Gatta turn right following signs for Villa Minozzo and Febbio. When you reach Villa Minozzo go straight up to Case Balocchi; turn right and continue straight on until Febbio, at the last junction turn left for the ski runs.
FROM MODENA
Drive towards Sassuolo and take the SS 486 that goes from Castellarano to Cerredolo. When you reach Ponte Enza, just before Cerredolo, turn right following signs for Villa Minozzo. Continue straight on until Gatta and then follow signs for Villa Minozzo and then for Febbio as described above.
FROM PARMA
Follow the Via Emilia until you reach Sant'Ilario d'Enza, at the roundabout after the village take the last exit towards Montecchio and follow signs for San Polo d'Enza. When you reach San Polo continue towards Quattro Castellan and then Puianello. When you reach Puianello turn right onto the SS 63 road. Then follow the same directions from Reggio Emilia.
FROM TUSCANY AND LIGURIA
Febbio 2000 can be reached from Tuscany by crossing the Passo delle Radici, from the Garfagnana area, or by taking the SS63 Cerreto road from the Lunigiana area or from Liguria.
